Privacy Policy
1. Who we are
DickTacToe (we, us) is operated by Kuper Bank. Effective date: July 6, 2026. Contact: support@dick-tac-toe.com. This policy explains what we collect when you use the DickTacToe app, why, and what choices you have.
2. Information we collect
Account info: email and password (Firebase Authentication). Profile info: display name, age, role preference (top/bottom/vers), bio, and profile photo. Location context: the U.S. state you select at the age gate, used only to apply the correct legal minimum age. Device location: with your permission, your device's GPS location, used to show how far away other users are on The Board and sort it nearest-first — you can deny this and still use the app fully, you just won't see distances. Content you create: game state and chat messages sent after a game finishes. Safety reports: if you block or report another user, we store who was reported, by whom, and why. Push notification token (Firebase Cloud Messaging), optional, used only to alert you when it's your turn. Advertising identifier: our ad partner (Google AdMob) may use this to serve and measure the banner ads shown in the app. Technical data: basic device/crash diagnostics from Firebase. We do not collect contacts or browsing history outside the app.
3. How we use it
To create and secure your account, and let you build a profile. To run the core game/match/chat feature, including showing distance between users on The Board. To detect, review, and act on abuse reports (block/report), and to enforce our Terms. To meet legal and app-store obligations around age verification and safety. To serve banner ads through Google AdMob, which helps fund the app. We do not sell your personal information. We do serve third-party ads (see below) but do not otherwise share your data with advertisers for marketing purposes.
4. Who we share it with
Firebase (Google Cloud): our backend for authentication, database, and photo storage. Google processes this data on our behalf under its own data processing terms. Google AdMob: serves the banner ads you see in the app and may use your advertising identifier to do so. Law enforcement or regulators, only when legally required. We do not share your profile, messages, or reports with other third parties for marketing purposes.
5. Data retention and deletion
You can delete your account at any time from Me, then Delete account, inside the app. This removes your profile and block list immediately. Game history you shared with other players may remain visible to them, without your profile attached. To request deletion outside the app, email support@dick-tac-toe.com.
6. Age requirement
DickTacToe is restricted to adults: 18+ everywhere, 19+ in Alabama and Nebraska, and 21+ in Mississippi. We do not knowingly allow anyone under these thresholds to use the app. If you believe a minor is using DickTacToe, report the profile in-app or email support@dick-tac-toe.com.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under GDPR or CCPA/CPRA), you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to certain processing. Contact support@dick-tac-toe.com to exercise these rights.
8. Security
We use industry-standard practices (encryption in transit, Firebase security rules restricting reads and writes to authorized users) to protect your data, but no system is 100% secure.
9. Changes to this policy
We will update the effective date above when this policy changes, and post material changes in-app.
